Dad Builds Water-Loving Dog An Indoor Pool So He Can Swim Year-Round

Each dog has its own unique personality and as dog owners, we do our best to cater to their wants, needs, and desires.

One Boston Terrier named Thor loves swimming so much that his dad transformed his garage into a pool house!

In an interview with The Dodo, Thor’s dad, Garret, said that the first thing the dog does every morning is go for a swim. At first, they had an 8-foot outdoor pool that Thor would run and jump into each morning.

After seeing how much Thor loved to swim, Garret upgraded him to a 15-foot pool!

They used that consistently over the summer months, but during winter, they get snow and can’t swim outdoors as much.

Of course, Thor wants to swim regardless of the weather so Garret, being the dedicated dog dad that he is, decided to come up with a solution.

In the end, Garett ended up converting his garage into a pool house just for Thor!

Garret’s devotion to Thor doesn’t stop there. When the persistent pooch wants a swimming buddy, Garrett will even hop into the water for a swim!
