Life with pets is always a trip. You think that owning a pet is going to go one way, but it turns out to be the complete opposite. While they do bring so much joy into our lives and we wouldn’t trade them for the world, they also bring a bit of chaos to our lives. They need to be trained, they need to be exercised, and they need to have their bathroom happenings cleaned up. It’s not always an easy task being a pet parent, but it’s also such a rewarding job.
Having a pet changes so many things about how we live our day-to-day lives. And there is one Taiwanese artist named John who perfectly captures what it’s like to have a furry companion or two sharing your home by doodling a series of illustrations.
Each illustration is a side-by-side before and after look at what it’s like to have a pet versus life before having a pet. Most of the themes to these pictures are that your home is a lot neater and more organized when there are no pets in the picture.
