In Thailand, many elephants are held in captivity and used for rides and other tourist attractions. They are also mistreated, starved, and even beaten. In this nature park, 35 elephants, now free from that horrible life, live happily. They get to eat, play, and socialize with one another totally free from abuse. They can’t be released back into the wild because they wouldn’t know how to fend for themselves, so living in this preserve is heaven on earth for these lucky guys.
