Australian Firefighters Raise Money For Charity By Posing Shirtless With Cats For Their Annual Calendar

Australian firefighters have come up with the perfect way of expanding their sex appeal by posing with kittens – creating an annual tradition of releasing a calendar where they pose shirtless while holding adorable baby felines.

The Australian Firefighters Calendar has become a big hit – even being the world’s most popular calendar. Since 1993, firefighters from all parts of Australia’s Urban, Rural, Armed Forces, Aviation, and corporate fire-fighting services have come together – alongside cats – in order to create every straight woman’s fantasy.

Before you get too excited, there’s more good news. There is a variety of six calendars, which feature other animals as well – like dogs and horses. Featured firefighters come not just from Australia but from France and Germany. The first-ever International Firefighters Calendar with hot firefighters from around the globe has also been launched.

Oh my, it looks like Christmas came early for some of you. But let’s discuss the hotness you can expect from this year’s cat calendar, should you choose to invest in one.

If you’re already thinking that it can’t get better than what you’re seeing, I’m here to tell you yes it does. Apparently, in addition to pictures of hot Aussie firefighters sans shirts cuddling kitties, there is also an accompanying video that features all the men in live-action.

So, besides getting a calendar with a hot guy for every month of the year, you can feel good about your purchase since the money you spend would be going to a good cause.

The proceeds from the calendars are put towards some of Australia’s biggest Children’s Hospital organizations as well as local, smaller charities, which focus more on native Australian, rescue, and therapy animals.

David Rogers, the Director for the Australian Firefighters Calendar explained during a press release, “We felt that it was important to help some of the smaller charities that the public never hears about. These grassroots organizations work tirelessly in their local community making a huge difference to people’s lives.”

Apparently, these calendars make the perfect holiday gift for most people – count me out, thanks. But if the person isn’t so much into cats, there is always the one where firefighters are photographed with puppies instead.
