A woman from Friday Harbor, Wash. with terminal cancer wants to ensure the safety of her three companions after she passes.
Kathleen Zuidema, admitting that the cancer she is fighting will eventually kill her, posted on Facebook, seeking a safe and loving home for her three dogs, affectionately named, “The Aussie Posse.” The dogs are a “package deal,” Zuidema wrote. “It is a huge thing to ask of one person but the thought of them being separated is more than l can bear.”
Autumn Moon, 11, Moka Luka, 4 1/2, and Finnegan, 4, are fixed and love attention. “Someone who can be with them alot would be my wish,” Zuidema wrote. “They are wonderful to be with the love they give and joy that they bring me every day has been unbelievable.”
A Friday Harbor woman facing terminal cancer has just one unselfish wish before she dies, a home for her beloved `Aussie Posse.` Do you know anyone who can help >> https://on.fb.me/1U3Hcxj

Zuidema’s initial facebook post went viral and was reposted over 8,000 times.
Danielle Zuidema found a new home for the Aussie Posse: a woman who lives on the same small island and advocates for animal rescue and adoption. Zuidema is gradually introducing the dogs to their new home, eventually leaving Moka Luka and Finnegan there, while Autumn Moon will remain with her until she dies.
Danielle Cochran and her husband already have 2 dogs, but that hasn't stopped them from stepping up and providing the perfect new forever home for the Aussie Posse! #TeamKathleen
