Alfie, a senior Golden Retriever, was kept outside by his former owners, chained up by the side of the house. His snout was muzzled with duct tape and his only bed was a cold slab of concrete. He wasn’t properly taken care of, and he was completely ignored, no matter how much he cried for help.
Eventually, the neighbors witnessed this horrible sight, so they immediately called police, but nothing came from it. The dog remained outside, day after day, and the neighbors had simply had enough.
When the dog’s owners weren’t home, the neighbors hopped the fence to rescue this poor dog from this hell that he had been forced to live in. His life was about to change for the better, he just didn’t know it yet.
No more chain, no more muzzle, no more hard concrete. And now, he was even given a name: Alfie. Alfie was adopted into a loving furever home, and he got to experience love and care for the first time in a long time!
He got a new doggy sibling who looks just like him! They went to the beach together and he was able to run around and be free, unlike when he was chained up.
