Dog Deemed Too Aggressive For Adoption Gets A Second Chance And Shocks Everyone

One night as the family was getting ready for bed, Lola began acting funny and collapsed on the floor. After a late night trip to the vet, Lola was diagnosed with hemolytic anemia, a disorder that causes the blood cells to attack the body.

Grice began Lola on a strict medical regime consisting of medication and blood transfusions. As the medical bills began to pile up, Grice knew she had to do whatever needed to be done to help Lola.

“I am absolutely broke but still can’t bring myself to give up on my otherwise healthy little Lola, who brings me so much joy without trying everything I can think of to find a solution first,” she wrote on her GoFundMe page.

For now, things are looking up for Lola. Her vet says her hemolytic anemia is in remission and her family says they are going to take advantage of every minute they have together.
