10 Awesome Places to Drink With Your Dog

Spring is right around the corner, and America is getting ready to celebrate. Fortunately for dog-lovers, there’s no longer good reason to leave your best friend at home should you choose to toast better weather with a trip to the bar. Read on for 10 U.S. bars that won’t just welcome your pet, but will roll out the red carpet with sprawling dog parks, dog-friendly menus, and other unique schemes to make Fido feel at home.

10. Norm’s Eatery & Alehouse, Seattle

It’s hard to get more dog-friendly than Norm’s, where drinkers of both human and canine variety are encouraged to “sit… and stay.” The latter group is subject to some additional rules, including strict regulations on barking, wearing leashes and eating off of plates, but these guys still really love dogs, so much so that they named their bar after one.

9. Mutt’s Canine Cantina, Dallas

This downtown Dallas hub is basically a dog-friendly beer garden, so your best friend can join you on the patio while you savor craft beers and gourmet hot dogs in his honor, or take off his leash to run free in the adjoining dog park. The majority of the menu is geared towards human consumption, but there’s a selection of dog-friendly treats, including bite-sized beef franks and custard laced with peanut butter. Meanwhile community events, including Downward Dog Yoga, support local animal rescues.
